Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
Seattle, WA 2012

The 1100 Eastlake tenant improvement project for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) represents a significant investment for the center towards consolidating their diverse research programs on-campus. This conversion of a speculative office building in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood resulted in a state of the art life sciences facility. The tenant improvement included laboratory and office programs for many of the Center’s most cutting-edge research programs, including the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division among others.
My role: This was my first project from concept to built project. I worked on interior detailing with assistance, was in charge of finishes, finish schedule, all interior elevations. Drew elevations and put pages together for labs, including casework and related details. Visited this project throughout its construction.
