The UPS Store: Pixel Landscapes

Freelance environmental artwork for The UPS Store advertising campaign. This collaboration with the VFX company, Framestore, needed a series of custom illustrated landscapes for use as animation backgrounds on The Sphere in Las Vegas. Each background was to be based on collected moodboards exploring a variety of locations from the Great Wall of China to Paris.

The greatest challenge was stylizing each scene correctly and uniformly in low-resolution PSD files as to best mimic a "pixel art" aesthetic to be later incorporated into 3D animations. Files were traded and edited between myself and several other designers/artists to meet the project's ambitious deadline and ensure consistency.
