Revolutionizing Furniture Customization
Ralph Lauren isn’t just about iconic polo shirts—they also have a Home Line featuring luxurious furniture. When they wanted to bring these pieces online with a customization experience, I took on the challenge.
My goal was to design an intuitive desktop and mobile experience, making it easy for anyone to personalize high-end furniture, much like customizing sneakers—except here, it's for exclusive, timeless pieces.
Problem
The main challenge was presenting up to 20 customization options per model in a way that's visual, engaging, and easy to navigate, while maintaining engagement across different devices.
My Role
Utilizing skills such as Design Systems, Prototyping and UX/UI, I developed an elevated online experience. I conducted a research to understand customer behavior and pain points. This information guided the design process, which was executed in Figma.
Outcomes
We introduced features like progress autosave and an easy option comparison tool, improving the user experience. This intuitive platform has revolutionized customer interactions with Ralph Lauren, increasing engagement and satisfaction.
