Beekman Tower, an iconic art deco building originally served as a women’s-only club and hotel space. Ophelia sits a top of this monument of classic New York architecture set on the East River. The brief was to reintroduce this rooftop gem to the public.
Inspired by art nouveau settings, Parisian apartments of the 1930s and blues of the night sky, the visual identity sought an enigmatic allure. Interpreted through a serif logotype, mystical colour palette, and flora and fauna illustrations adapted from public archives. Doors have reopened to the 26th floor to inspire a new generation.
