In February of 2014, Shipley & Halmos opened up the “Made in S&H” pop-up shop on Canal Street in NYC. The CFDA Award-winning designers aimed to reinterpret the tchotchke trinket and knockoff shops that line the infamous downtown strip by putting a clever spin on the run-of-the-mill souvenirs. In addition to the S&H Spring 2014 collection, the store was stocked with, among others, a shot glass that ranks your intake with that of classic authors, a crappy plastic keychain that announces itself as such and a beer koozie that dictates which cheap American beers are allowed to be placed inside.
