A fresh start for Bitcoin trading site, uBTCx. To begin with, they were after a new name. Something that was easier to remember, playful and stood out from the usual Bit ‘this’ or Coin ‘that’ which typically dominates the marketplace. The outcome was ‘roolo’; the phonetic spelling of the French word, ‘rouleau’ — a small roll of coins wrapped in paper. The proposed identity followed suit, drawing inspiration from coin wrappers and stationery.
