Superplastic’s 72-hour clearance event, Janky’s Pawn Shop. A chaotic, character-driven concept where Janky robbed a pawn shop and is now unloading rare and limited-edition toys at suspiciously low prices.
The creative direction leaned heavily into so-bad-it’s-good 80s late-night TV vibes — think blown-out graphics, aggressive CTA text, glitchy transitions, and “BUY NOW!” energy. Inspired by those low-budget pawn shop infomercials you’d catch at 2AM, we pushed the aesthetic to be intentionally tacky, loud, and nostalgic, mirroring the absurdity and collectibility of the Superplastic universe.
