Vernissage Posters

My design inspiration was taken from the word “breakthrough.” I rendered it bold and colorful as a way of portraying my personality in the poster. I utilized Illustrator to split up the word to achieve a breakage effect and also crafted the illustrations directly in the program.

The graphics were also affected by Y2K design, which has a tendency to use small, whimsical illustrations to contribute to a playful and energetic appearance. The color scheme uses high contrast to ensure that both the typography and graphics are prominent, so they are seen together.
