Divyavastram, is an upcoming brand of handloom sarees, which wants to create a identity for itself that would resonate with a diverse audience while staying true to the brand's Indian heritage and the divine inspiration behind the name "Divyavastram" (meaning divine clothes).
I developed a brand identity that seamlessly blended tradition with modernity. The approach involved:
Logo Design: A minimalist logo featuring a stylized Hindi font which echoed the elegant drape of a saree and a lotus flower, a symbol of purity and divinity in Indian culture.
Typography: A flowing Hindi font was chosen for its elegance and connection to Indian culture. This font was paired with a modern sans-serif font for readability and versatility.
Color Palette: A rich color palette centered around shades of red and gold, colors deeply rooted in Indian tradition and associated with royalty and auspiciousness. These colors also complemented the brand name "Divyavastram" perfectly.
Visual Language: A visual language that emphasized the beauty and intricate details of handloom sarees through high-quality photography and videography.
