Children's art needs to engage and delight. And it’s essential in a kid’s world. Pictures help children (and adults) understand things more clearly. Art plays a crucial role in supporting the text and story of children’s books - from images that help a young reader learn new phonics and vocabulary to art that enhances the narrative and sparks the imagination. Throughout much of my career, I’ve focused on art for children.
