We worked directly with the hot sauce queen herself to develop a new brand look & feel, campaign platform, content themes and concepts, and a collection of assets to launch the new brand, just in time for her launch in TARGET.
We didn’t shy away from the bold, because Sam doesn’t shy away from bold in her flavors. Our platform, Sam’s Sauce, leans into personality. It’s feisty and fearless, with content buckets like ‘Make ‘em Wet Wednesday’, HOT N SAUCY is comin’ in hot.
We worked with Sam over several months to bring her brand to life. We looked at competitors and best in class brands. We learned about where Sam came from, her history and where she wants to be in the future.
With just three of us on set (+ Sam & Hubs as talent), we kept it simple but effective. With bold colors and a lot of takeout, we worked as a team to produce 20+ food images and hundreds of pics of Sam in just 2 shot days
In addition, shoot every single bottle and ingredient to create a system to produce endless combinations to cover all specs needed in the future.
At the end, we came up with a brand that will stand out from the rest, a collection of content that will span digital and print touch points for the foreseeable future, and a body of work we are all so excited to say we worked on.
