Khalid Ahamed (Indie Gig) Poster

As a designer, I find immense joy in creating art that brings people together and celebrates the beauty of music. I am delighted to share a poster I designed for an indie gig back in the days featuring Khalid Ahamed, the lead vocalist of the renowned indie band Parvaaz. This special experience was organized by Leave No Fingerprint.

In designing this poster, I sought to capture the essence of Khalid's soulful music and the intimate, heartfelt experience his performances evoke. The colors, typography, and imagery were all chosen to reflect the passion and nostalgia that Khalid's voice brings to his audience. The spiral of lyrics around his image symbolizes the emotional journey that his songs take us on, reminding us of the power of music to connect hearts and transcend boundaries. The poster uses a contrasting color palette of red and teal, which is both bold and visually stimulating.
