The task was to redesign the Classroom Magazines website, a platform of scholastic materials for various subjects and grade levels, with a focus on enhancing user experience and accessibility for teachers.
The project involved extensive research and collaboration with stakeholders, including interviews, experience mapping workshops, and usability testing. Personas were created to represent different user groups and their pain points.
Through these processes, the design team aimed to provide teachers with easy access to resources, improve content organization, and create a more engaging and user-friendly platform.
The initial designs were sketched on paper, followed by the creation of interactive wireframe prototypes using Axure. These prototypes facilitated better stakeholder engagement and feedback, allowing for continuous iteration and refinement of the designs.
The final redesign resulted in positive outcomes, including an 11% increase in conversions, a significant rise in mobile sales, increased user engagement with longer time spent on the site, and improved search engine optimization results.
