Tie Me Up: Tee Time Sustainability Project

Every spring, The fashion department at The University of Alabama puts on a runway show with looks created by the students. The purpose of this show is to bring awareness of textile waste and challenge students to make something out of unorthodox and sustainable materials.

For my collection Tie Me Up, I used about 25 ties and a button down from the thrift store and my father’s old waist coat. This project is one of my first and still my favorite. If you would like to see more about the creative process, click my portfolio link!
