Shopping Bag

I was commissioned by WeWork to create an illustration for Black History Month. They wanted an illustration that would celebrate the history and contributions of black-owned businesses. Although we went with a different concept in the end, this was one of my favorite initial concepts. I wanted to showcase Black businesses in a subtle way, because one of my favorite ways to showcase Black History Month is to showcase everyday occurrences in the Black community. Also, I love illustrating plants, so this was a bonus.
