Sample Barbie Social Key Art

I wanted to see if I could take multiple images of a friend group on different days and make all the lighting work in one image to promote or celebrate the advent of the Barbie film.

Over the course of a week, I photographed a diverse friend group on different days in different lighting sources. I also made the background from scratch, shading and shaping a Palm Desert scene to match the summery vibe.

I then composited the whole thing in Photoshop over the course of a few days, giving every character their own look and even their own accessories.
