New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation set out to change people’s minds, and boost midweek visitation, with a campaign that showed how NOLA does Tuesdays unlike any other place in the world.
We started by live responding to people’s terrible Tuesday social posts with custom #HappyTuesday messages from local personalities. Brightening their day, NOLA-style. Our campaign was supported by midweek deals and events from local businesses, making travelers even happier. #HappyTuesday contributed to another record-breaking year for New Orleans, with a dramatic increase in both visitation and visitor spending.
