Cox Communications: Band Together

A few years ago, Cox Communications began a program called The Connections Project. It’s a series of initiatives that celebrate real stories of human connection. While freelancing at 180LA, my partner Maggie McClurken and I came up with an initiative for this program called Band Together.
The idea was simple—bring two rival high schools with a deep-seated football rivalry together, through their marching bands.
The amazing team at 180LA brought the idea to life in this beautiful video that tells the story of how Putnam City North and Putnam City West, during one half-time show, became a unified “Putnam City”.
