Multimedia Graduate Program

A while after completing the Six On One CD package I was asked to create a new logo for the Multimedia Graduate Program at California State University East Bay. The program brings students from various creative majors together to collaborate on an interactive thesis project of their choosing. Since the program doesn’t focus on one specific medium I decided to make the logo an interwoven letter M in the school’s colors to represent multiple mediums coming together. As a result the M resembles an arrow pointing up which is suppose to signify higher education and the uphill battle one faces obtaining a masters degree. Although I was only hired to design a new logo for this project I decided to mock up some stationery, a poster, and a responsive website each playing with the theme of interactivity to show the client how the new mark could be applied.
