I worked with the team at Ready Set Rocket to conceptualize, write, storyboard, and deliver social media performance marketing copywriting, a series of video ads for a Neutrogena campaign. It performed so well on social media and programmatic, the client ended up running it on TV as well.
To get a Gen Z audience excited about the Neutrogena Hydro Boost cleanser, I envisioned video ads that had a playful tone of voice that connected to the conversational style of social media. I framed the search for the “perfect cleanser” as if it was about finding the perfect relationship, giving a motivational or self-help spin to skincare. I intentionally used cheeky plays-on-words that would make this analogy resonate with the target audience.
