HERE to HERE Policy Brief Template

HERE to HERE is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to championing young people by working to redefine the systems that unfairly burden Black and Brown students as they pursue their career ambitions. They sought the immediate support of a graphic designer to complete the design of a three-part project consisting of two editable policy brief templates—one for briefs concerning Policy, and one for briefs concerning Practice. The third part of this scope requires the designer to use the aforementioned Practice template to lay out and put into practice the Policy Brief Template on virtual internships.

As the designer I was responsible for the creation of templates that conform with HERE to HERE brand and visual standards, including HERE to HERE colors, fonts, and logos. Templates included placeholders for a title, authors, logos, date or season of publication, acknowledgements, executive summary, findings, recommendations, endnotes and references, and other standard policy brief components. The brief templates also included placeholders for imagery, call-out boxes, charts, graphs, and other visual assets that could be easily edited in Adobe Acrobat.
