The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) provides education on topics applicable to all sectors of the jewelry industry through webinars, industry trade show sessions, and events located across the United States. By educating businesses on legal issues, JVC creates industry-improving conversations with governmental and non-governmental entities responsible for setting the rules and standards for jewelry businesses.
For over 100 years, The Jewelers Vigilance Committee has advocated for sustainable practices, working to represent industries strongly focused on humanely acquired jewelry. The main focus of their rebrand was to create a membership platform that educates their constituents and provides them with legal practice materials.
The serifs of each letter have been manipulated to reflect the edges of rings and cufflinks from the decade of JVC's founding. Raw minerals served as major inspiration to the overall brand color palette, representing both tradition and uniformity across all materials. Studying similar educational industries inside and outside of their profession gave insight to best practices expressed digitally and through printed materials.
