This Is Not Consent

Poster series and brochure for End Rape on Campus, an organization that works to end campus sexual violence through direct support for survivors and their communities; prevention through education; and policy reform at the campus, local, state, and federal levels.

These items were created to draw attention to the fact that a person cannot consent while drunk. From a distance, this poster may appear to be an advertisement for a specific brand of alcohol, but a closer look shows the label designs that say “This is not consent.” The resulting shift in the viewer’s reaction to the poster hopefully causes them to consider this idea the next time they see or partake in alcohol.
