Bernie 2020

This self-initiated project mixes handmade illustration with motion in support of the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign. California is a pivotal state for Sanders and he has put a lot of emphasis on the Latinx vote, split between mixed generations and experiences. As a Sanders supporter and grandson to Mexican immigrants, I felt a need to create additional messaging for this shared community. Acknowledging the vernacular of politics is changing, I employed the help of WNW member Denzel Hill to animate the illustrations for social distribution.
