Food Justice Manifesto

This motion design project came out of my masters thesis project. The project is a food justice manifesto that I co-created with my user group: youth interns at East New York Farms and Insurgo. The goal is to cultivate food justice particularly in neighborhoods deprived of access to nutritious and culturally appropriate food by dismantling the oppressive structures that misguide the food system in local underserved neighborhoods in New York City. The mission is to empower youth to be the agents of change in the fight for an equitable food system that prioritizes communities of color and low-income neighborhoods in New York City.
