Future Lions: Autism skills development with Facebook Portal
This project was shortlisted for AKQA's Future Lions 2019
An estimated 500,000 individuals on the autism spectrum will become adults over the next decade. 70% of them will be under or unemployed, and 1 in 4 will live in poverty.
Thrifa uses Facebook Portal's motion sensing and video technology to help individuals with autism develop the soft skills they need to secure adequate employment.
