A recent study published in the New Scientist estimated that poor sleep costs the American economy $40billion a year due to poor health. It’s a growing epidemic symptomatic of a time poor age and one of the biggest culprits is our addiction to digital devices and social media.
We wanted to elevate Casper beyond just mattresses and reframe it as a Sleep company, repositioning it as a wellness brand with a mission to help America get some sleep. In any way possible.
So we launched the Casper Sleep Channel on IGTV, Spotify and Youtube. Twice a week our host June the Moon goes on the air at 10pm to encourage us to get off our phones and listen to some sleep inducing content - meditations, soundscapes and bedtime readings.
