Disaster Response

For seven years I headed the digital media arm of the disaster response nonprofit Team Rubicon, plus two more years as digital media and creative lead at Team Rubicon Global. Over that time I responded to over 25 disasters domestically and internationally. It was purpose-driven work that helped polish my photojournalism chops and resiliency and adaptability in austere environments. There were countless moments of suffering, loss, resiliency, and a camaraderie that can only be found in environments such as this.
