My Brother's Keeper Rising

In 2014, President Obama launched My Brother's Keeper (MBK) and issued a powerful call to action to close opportunity gaps facing young men of color. This initiative sparked candid dialogue around the country to help more young people reach their goals, regardless of their race, gender, or socioeconomic status.

MBK Rising! was an event in Oakland that brought together the growing network of MBK Communities, elected officials, and young men of color to help them achieve their dreams.
