Cry, Baby: Devan Shimoyama

A recent catalog designed for artist Devan Shimoyamaâ€s first solo exhibition at The Andy Warhol Museum titled Cry Baby.

The cover of the catalog is printed in a bright magenta color inspired by Shimoyama’s vibrant works and is embossed with a metallic circular stencil typeface. The opening pages of each section, essay headings, and captions printed in a luminous metallic PMS color capturing the life and materiality in his works.

The typography in the catalog combines Beretta, a distinctive circular stencil typeface, designed by 205TF, and the refined sans Graphik, designed Commercial Type.
