We were asked to boldly launch Apple's native news app in United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
As the strategic planner on this campaign, we set out to redefine the power of digital news and celebrate it at its visceral, visually arresting best, especially against the backdrop of #fakenews.
To this end, we collaborated with such highly acclaimed publications as Vanity Fair, CNN, Wired, and Vogue (among many others), positioning Apple News as the preeminent news app with all the sources you love all in one place. Its visual identity took the literary universes of each publication, and married them with the user-interface of the app.
