African Girl Foundation

African Girl Foundation provide women and girls with a reusable and effective sanitary pad that will keep them in school and in the workplace, without the stigma that accompanies menstruation.

I’ve always wanted to be part of something meaningful in the sense of better peoples lives. That’s why when this opportunity came along I couldn’t wait to get invovled with this non-profit organisation and work pro bono.

I created a look and feel to give the website maximum impact to enforce the message and get people’s attention. We did this in a postive way to celebrate the lives of these young women, rather than creating something drab and depressing. This included and art-inspired image treatment and typography that gives it a personal touch.
