West Elm Cancún Art Installation & Live Painting

Hanging art, live painting session and 'Jungle Days' concept creation for West Elm Puerto Cancún store opening.
Art install reflected the current status of a local's perspective on what life is actually like when you're living in the Caribbean. All hanging pieces were hand painted and conceptualized a mixture of Mayan Culture + the sense of breaking the myth of Cancún as an only-touristic destination in a minimal abstract sense.

In this month-wide event, I had the chance to expose my feeling towards this city and how it became my main source of inspiration for my art. There were also some screen printed tote bags made for this and the windows of the store were covered by huge digital printed illustrations of this collab.
