I joined the Madwell team in the middle of their rebrand of Rockport, an American-heritiage shoe brand. We focused on pushing the brand into the modern market by including iconography, hand-done illustration, patterns, and photography — all married with a comprehensive type treatment. We strove to create a high-quality, crafted feel that Rockport instills in all their shoes across all platforms and campaigns. I was honored to be able to play a role in every aspect, and be on hand at photo and video shoots for art direction, and styling. I produced the final assets as well as help retouch, and prep them for print as well as digital placement. I also created many of the illustrations used throughout the brand with the help of illustrator Kevin Davis.
