VISUAL ESSAY - 'TECHNOLOGY'

This project is an infographic visual essay centered on the importance of technology and how it can impact education. Today, teenagers are native users of advanced technology including computers, tablets, and smartphones. However, they are not familiar with utilizing these technologies in service of innovative learning. This project visualizes how introducing ed-tech to teenagers and how teaching them about this new and critical application of technology is so important to their future.

Because of the technological aspect of this premise, I wanted to use a more stylized aesthetic to match the look of an infographic. The result was a direct and focused aesthetic with fewer colors and the inclusion of red to highlight key aspects of the design.

Because one of my passions is developing character through animation, I crafted a clean, vector-inspired design but one that left room for roundness, playfulness, and expressiveness.
