Woland Gin

Woland Gin is a gin for magicians. Dark, elevated, and cheeky, it honors a fictional professor of black magic who brews gin. One day, Professor Woland’s batch grants him immortality, and turns him into a giant cat.

Tapping into the morbid and fantastical world of modern magicians, I crafted a brand identity with an elegant serif typeface, a 19th-century illustration style, and playful, macabre imagery.

This packaging went on to win first place in the Shillington NY Packaging Design competition and a GDUSA award. Hooray!
